Gods plan
I had always been taught
to ask God for what I needed
and that he would give me
whatever I ask for in his name.
So, I asked God for
prosperity, power, popularity,good grades, safety, success,good friends, health, and wealth.
In all these things,
I asked God for more of what I wanted,
but he gave me more of what I needed:
Himself.

Tomorrows like the 777, 7 of july of the 7th year of the second millennium. Many people are getting hitched and one of them is my preacher. Anyways, its also earth day tomorrow. All AL gores bright idea, proceeds will be like channelled to some non-profit organisation founded by Al gore too. But the idea of having like music concerts all around the world that consumes enough energy over 24 hrs to feed a small country is like hypocritical to the cause. On one hand we are desperately trying to promote anti- ozone depletion and anti-global warming, on the other hand we are consuming so much energy just to raise this awareness. So the assumption is that after 7/7/7 we will all be like save energy man! icebergs melting! after hearing bands like linkin park we will somehow relate it to using energy effiecient light bulbs.
I dont see the link, maybe it will raise awareness for a little bit, but for all the energy they consume for it....it better last.
Its good that this idea is raised, just that its not really fully functional. Some ideas may seem good but are not practical. Like this Live Earth thingy.
Lastly. Is wearing green going to stop icebergs from melting?
